It can be argued that hit her artistic peak on The Sugarcubes' debut album. Yeah, , , , all pretty incredible... however, can you find a moment in that triplet half as unique and emotive as "Birthday?" The growling pixie chorus became her indelible stampwhen this album . So many incredible Bjork moments throughout the album(interspersed amongst protagonist Einar's Ice-jabbings), her pure emotion breaks through like machine gun bullets cutting through Bangkok smog. Highly recommended.
