The Corian sub-chassis rests on three magnetic fields that create a suspension system that avoids parasitic noise normally caused by conventional spring mechanisms. The resonance-optimized sandwich construction of the platter (a combination of MDF and vinyl layer screw down record clamp) runs on an inverted bearing with stainless-steel axle carrying a ceramic ball/plate bearing. The pre-mounted 9" carbon fiber Pro-Ject 9cc Evolution tonearm rounds out this premium system.
