It's the seventeenth album from , but considers it a two-part album: "The songs on the first album are the children. The songs on the second album are their parents. Ghosteen is migrating spirit." It's true, the first LP consists of 8 songs, while the second LP consists of two long-form pieces bridged by a spoken word passage.
