MGMT's sophomore full-length from 2010 gets a fancy 180 gram vinyl repress with a fresh remaster from the original tapes for tip top sound quality. On their second album, Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden drop the catchy pop of Oracular Spectacular and opt for a much more ambitious, experimental vibe, with co-production byPete Kember (, , ). It almost seems like since securing their major label deal on Columbia, they've really decided to let loose and let the freak flag fly. And in this case, it's totally a good thing.
