The ideal compact high-fidelity speaker for stand mount, or cabinet installations. Clean, dynamic sound with excellent deep bass response
DRIVERS
All MRC loudspeakers use the same low-distortion ceramic cone drivers
Ceramic drivers achieve high internal damping, and extremely low mass
The 25 mm tweeter utilizes a massive underhung dual-magnet structure, a titanium voice coil former, and a vented pole piece to minimize power compression while keeping distortion below 1% over the entire audible range.
The 173 mm midrange-base driver features the same ceramic cone construction, and similar low-distortion capabilities across the speakers effective frequency range.
CROSSOVERS
As with all Acora loudspeakers, the crossovers for the MRC line are assembled by hand using premium components in our Ontario factory.
In the case of the MRC line, all capacitors and inductors are sourced from Mundorf in Germany and are carefully matched to ensure each pair of speakers is closely matched to provide the sort of seamless, walk-around soundstage Acora is known for
All crossover components are wired point-to-point using Cardas continuous cast copper wiring
The amplifier connection is made using the Cardas single knob binding post. Spade lugs or bare wire preferred!
CABINETS
All MRC cabinets are handcrafted in Ontario, Canada from 20mm thick natural marble slabs
Standard Finishes include
Botticino Marble
Grigio Carnico Marble

ACORA ACOUSTICS
was founded in 2018 by lifelong music lover and speaker designer Valerio Cora.
Cora has been building speakers for over 40 years with an important feature most manufacturers cant match- cabinets made of natural stone. With inherently lower resonance and less stored energy than MDF or Wood enclosures, stone provides a nearly perfect launching pad for a loudspeaker driver.
The first Acora designs used complex cabinets made from granite, while the MRC line uses natural marble enclosures.
